Ruhlman to the rescue

In the past month or so, there’s been a sense of heightened awareness surrounding some big food issues–the dangers of processed food, the possible lack of dangers with saturated fat, the increasingly clear ties between sugar and obesity–and at any given moment, I’m tempted to spout off about the state of food and eating in America.  Lucky for me, Ruhlman came out and said it more eloquently than I could have ever dreamed, and from a position of far more credibility.  That’s probably an understatement.

Anyway, click the link above for his blog post on how “eating healthy” shouldn’t be contingent on the latest study, but on what makes your body feel good, and what makes you happy.  I’ll leave the preaching to him and stick to posting recipes.

And on that note, be on the lookout for our upcoming chili, chocolate cookies and ice cream post, coming soon!
